Dr. Victor Protsenko
Victor Protsenko was born in the village Kvitkovo of Ukraine in 1941. After graduating from the Simpheropol Institute of medicine in 1970, Victor worked as a physician at the Alexandrovka hospital in the Kherson region of Ukraine from 1970 to 1975 before continuing General Surgery studies at the Odessa Institute of Medicine, from where he obtained a high-category diploma of surgery in 1977.
From 1977 to 1981, Victor worked as a chief surgeon at Benisaf hospital in the Tlemcen region of Algeria where he performed 1500 operations. Upon his return to Odessa in 1981, he worked as a surgeon at the Odessa City Hospital #2. From 1988 to 1991, he was employed as a surgeon at Hassi-Messaude hospital in the Sahara region of Algeria. Due to the Algerian civil war, he was forced to return to Ukraine where he worked at the Odessa Institute of General Surgery until his emigration to Canada in 1993.
Victor received a diploma as a Naturopath in 1997 and remains an active member of the Quebec Association of Naturopathic Medicine. In 2004 he set up a massotherapy school, Panvic, which is recognized by the QANM. Victor presently works as a Naturopath at the Le Centre de Santé Renaissance in Montréal, Québec, Canada. He is married and has two grown-up children.
